Are you aware of the current issues facing Woodberry and the surrounding areas today?
As many of you may know, Loyola is planning on starting construction on their stadium and Struever Bros is moving forward on their Clipper Mill project. Also, a developer called Savannah Development (click here for the City Paper article) is planning on building anywhere from 16 to 30 houses in the Greenspring Trails area of Woodberry, the most heavily wooded and most quaint area of Woodberry. This is a controversial project, as it's opposed by residents and wasn't the plan picked by the City's steering committee. Finally, Woodberry as a community is working on finalizing a Comprehensive Master Plan to help guide the direction of the community. |
