National Historic Register District - currently available to Brick Hill and Woodberry historic districts only

If you live in a National Historic Register District, you can qualify for a 20% state tax credit on repairs to your home, or 20% state and federal tax credits on your commercial property*. Certain restrictions apply, see below.

Federal Energy Efficiency tax credit for 2007- You can get a federal tax credit (up to $500 total) for improving the energy efficiency of your home. Energy efficient furnaces, windows, doors, and even metal roofs (even roofs that look like an old tin roof for you doing a historic rehab qualify, if they have an energy star certified coating).
