We Did it! The Twirly slide is finally back at Rockrose Playground!

Concerned Citizens finally got the twirly slide installed at Rockrose Playground. With the help of residents, Parks and People Foundation, and Baltimore City Parks and Rec, we just got the slide installed for use! We also worked to get the lights in the Druid Park Drive park repaired.

What's next for our parks?

We've gotten a lot of ideas from you and are working on the following:

• New trash cans and doggie clean up station in the parks (just applied for a grant to help buy these)
• Working with Baltimore City to get half of the concrete removed from the Druid Park Drive Park- the City would remove the concrete from behind Malden Ave to the area where it looks like outdoor theater seating. (The City will learn if they will get this funded in the spring- they're applying for a grant to do this)
• Clean ups to help remove trash, overgrown vines and more!
• Get old rotten wooden exercise "equipment" and rotten wooden benches removed in Druid Park Drive park.
• Rename the Druid Park Drive Park (?- it's certainly a mouthfull!)
• Signs for our parks (Future project)
